• Cutting Edge

I like to invent, to make use of brand new technologies and drive them to their limits.

Why do the same thing over and over again?

  • Reliable

Coding standards are usually defined for very good reason. I take pride in ensuring the things I create are always made to the highest standards, and maintain my code to bring it up to current defintions as needed.

I agree with and support OpenStand, the mordern paradigm for standards.

  • Entertaining

The internet should be a place of amusement and enjoyment besides one of business. A developer who applies his talents only to serious and austere tasks is bound to go mad.

I love to ply my trade for the sake of whimsy. Coding is an art, and art should be fun!

SnipShare.Net is a long standing work in progress of mine. I often reuse little pieces of useful code, but sometimes am not sure where exactly I last used it or where I can find it. None of the other similar sites or programs offered all of the features that I wanted, so I set out to create my own.

This site features integrated login, using either a Google or Facebook account; so there is no need to remember yet another password. It also makes use of Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatars) to help establish a smooth social presence.

The snippets themselves offer many features:

  • Assignment of one of over a dozen programming languages.
  • Syntax highlighting based upon the language.
  • Assignment of tags.
  • Filtering and browsing by owner, tags, and language.
  • Ability to set a snippet to private, or to share publicly.
  • Utility to clone and edit any snippet.

My goal is to make this a social code sharing hub for programmers.
